Baltic Research Programme focuses on strengthening multilateral relations between research institutions in the Baltic States and donortsates. The focus of this programme is on promoting sustainable cooperation in research, complementarity and capacity building as well as creating grounds for future cooperation in research projects at European Union and European Economic Area and regional level. The projects under Baltic Research Programme shall be implemented by 30 April 2024 in three beneficiary countries - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia - together with donor countries - Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. As a result of three open calls, 27 applicants for research projects in the Baltic States received funding for the implementation of projects: Latvia – 9, Estonia – 7 and Lithuania – 11.
